A simple love song I wrote one night in a dorm room after watching "The Wedding Singer". Only four chords and deceptively simple lyrics; still, people have said that this is their favorite song of mine. It's also the opening track on my debut album, "4 years". If you want to support me by buying an album, or just want more information about me and my music, check out my website at "johnnydoman.com". |

This is a song from my first album, and one of my more popular crowd songs. It's got a pop feel, but based on an acoustic riff and CSN vocal styling. A real upbeat feel. |

This is a non-album track, only available here and at my website (www.johnnydoman.com). I wrote this in the summer of 2002 after listening to some Elliot Smith and trying to duplicate that sound. Didn't exactly, but I came up with something else. |

This is the only true rock'n roll song on my debut album, and it's always been a big hit. The real thing about this song that makes it different is that it's more of an ANTI-free song than anything else. The fourth line of the song exemplifies this: "I don't really want to be, but I'm free." Despite the electric feel, it's got a nifty acoustic base taht I'm pretty proud of, too, which was co-written with my old bandmates Phil Costanzo and Sean Bobak. Drummer Mike Chamberland has fun on this song too! |

A blues tune that starts out slow and acoustic, like on the front porch in summer; then turns electric and rocking; then fades back. A fan favorite. |

This is one of the first compositions that me and Phil Costanzo worked on together. A dark inner journey-song about faith and doubt set against a background of acoustic riffs. |

Okay, this isn't even my song. Seriously. It's totally written by Phil Costanzo, my old bandmate. But hey, it's still a great song. This is the studio version, recorded in the summer of 2000 in Front Royal, Va. Me and Phil and doing guitar and vocals, I put the bass line down, and Mike Chamberland, as usual, is on drums |

A live version of Phil's song, "Don Quixote", recorded at the Steubenville National Guard Armory. I'm playing bass and singing on this cut, while Phil is doing guitar and lead vocals and Sean Bobak is playing guitar. Dan Schreck is doing electric guitar and vocals, and Mike Chamberland is on drums. This recording's also available at the Horse Shoe Pitts website, www.horseshoepitts.netfirms.com. |
