This song has keyboards, flute, vocals, and guitar. One of the more complex musically that I've written. Very pretty (I think). My goal with this song was to make the flute and voice dance with each other, especially in the last verse. I didn't want either to dominate. |

The only song on this album that might remind you of Tori Amos (just the singing). It is higher in pitch than most of my stuff, and was a challenge to sing. But what I wrote it about was a challenge to even talk about. I think it works. Slow, mournful, at times angry. |
