| This song is about a feeling I get when I'm at an airport. Airports always seem to be filled with so many different emotions. These emotions can really overtake a person, they always seem to grab a hold of me.
The song touches on a lot of feelings. Mainly, the isolated feelings a person gets when everything that they believed in turns out to be a lie. |

| I got the title from a short story that I read about Asian cultures. Hikikomori= Asian children locking themselves away from their parents and the world. They go into their rooms, and stay for extreme amounts of time. Reserchers have concluded that the alienation the children feel is a direct result of how the society itself is very insecure, and emotionally inverted. No eye contact is very important in this culture-b/c of the fear that conflict, or a vunerable moment may occur. Sad, yet very real. I created this song with all of that in my thoughts. The song to me, translates that feeling. |

| I was going for melodic/unstructured type of movements through this song.
I was tired of creating songs that were predictable/cliche. You know-verse chorus verse chorus. I didn't do anything ground breaking with it- I was just happy to do a song that was less structured- just to see how I'd react to it.
Some songs are better left short and sweet-some deserve more time.

| I used this song for my first independent video. With help from friends, I made a black and white music video- with kind of a dark edge to it. The video was all about anxiety, and panic attacks- and the people who were having these episodes would be transported to this dark hallway that represented their hell. Error=Hell |
