All the sounds on this piece were produced on the bass guitar. The percussive sounds are the strings of the bass "prepared" by placing alligator clips at harmonic points along the strings. The melody is from a Indonesian Pelog scale, with some very western elements added. |

Originally intended as a lullaby for my daughter, this tune has taken a life all it's own. This recording is done live, there are no overdubs, the only editing has been the removing of the "building" of the loop patterns at the begining of the piece. |

Solo Acoustic Bass Guitar and loops. Basically an improvisation based upon a composed series of chord changes which are "played" via a Lexicon JamMan and Line 6 DL4 looping devices to create the ABABC form. The melody is a one-take improvisation. |
