When this song was composed, going up into space in a spaceship was envisioned; as you get higher and faster, the engine roars and then your ears pop and everything becomes distorted. |

| This song is an instrumental. Around the time of work on this song, America was going into war with Iraq. The theme of war subconsiously crept into this song by means of the rappid gunfire sounds heard in the background along with sort of a militant drum sound in part of the song. A tension and release thing was the motive of this song. It starts out with tension produced by fear, war and general dark times and then releases into a re-gained sense of personal well-being, hope and peace within. |

| For the first layers of this instrumental song, acoustic guitar and maracas were recorded outside in the woods. The microphones also picked up nature sounds such as birds and wind. And with a highway near, you can hear semi-trucks driving by in the background. Later, string sounds were added. This is an interesting piece that places you out in the woods for a time of and reflection if you close your eyes. |

| During a time in the summer when a huge rainstorm came down hard and flooded the streets, it was a good idea to stay inside, though not a bad thing. There can be something really comforting and mind-cleansing about hearing thunder rumble the ground and raindrops dance in puddles as a cool, gentle breeze blows through the window on a mid-summer day. This instrumental song captures this vibe with dynamic melodies and a microphone that was put up to the window to actually have the sound of rain mixed in with the recording. |
