This is the rocker on the CD. Starts with some little march feel but hang in because this tune builds thanks to the great drumming of Denny McDermott! |

This song is a little "out" but has been getting the most attention as far as airplay and interest! David Torrey who mastered the CD thought it had one of the best hooks he ever heard. A bit dark and haunting with Patti Smith like vocals and lyrics.Cool guitar work by Joe Bilotti., |

Quirky fun pop tune. Guitarist, Steve Tarshis adds a mideastern flavor to Joan's vocal work which is reminiscent of Kate Bush. |

Very simple short "innocent" tune with fine guitar work by Dave Gellis, weaving piano and subtle use of violin and cello. Medium groove that develops into a very positive feel played by Marco Giovino on drums which then grooves through a a cool violin solo played by Carol Scharer. |

This song lures you in with an innocent lead vocal, reminiscent of an Irish folk, and then gets a bit angry and develops into an edgy rockin' tune. Full production with guitars, bass, drums,
percussion, cello, violin, background vocals...it's big and this song crosses over to the younger listeners as well.

This melodic, pretty tune is perfect to sing along to when you want to relax while driving in your car. In the style of Shawn Colvin/Neil Young, Joan captures a good vibe with an arrangement which features Steve Tarshis on lap steel, and great background vocals. |

This song is a a bit spooky, dark and haunting. Written in a more theatrical style , it blends jazz harmonies with classical strings and a pop like vocal. Unique style of writing, for the more sophisticated ear. |

This piece is in two parts, the first section being an instrumental in a 60's Brazilian type sound. Originally conceived for dance it was written with a
play in mind. The second section breaks into a song. The beautiful flugal horn part played by Ken Fradley really adds to this colorful
arrangement.

Get Fancy Magazine writes "Joan then swoons her way into another KD Lang like self-helper in "Torch Song", a tune that, like Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror reminds you to turn toward not away from yourself, your dreams , to be on fire with life's love. |
