Group Members
Joan has some really great players ready for all types of performances. Here are some of the musicians she has been gigging with around town! Marco Giovino who has toured with Julia Darling and currently is drumming for G.E. Smith and his band "Bucktooth Johnson". When Marco is not available Joan has been fortunate to play with drummer Denny McDermott who has recorded with Marc Cohn(Walking in Memphis), Donald Fagen, and all sorts of great reccording artists, Denny's smile is as infectious as his groove. Sue Williams who has been a member of Southside Johnny and currently plays with Richie LaBAmba and Johnny Rosch bands plays bass when available as well as Paul Ossola, another top notch bass man....Steve Tarshis has been playing guitar with the band, while in duo situations Joan has been performing with guitarist /vocalist Joe Bilotti, from the Soft Parade Door's cover band.ˇ |

Press Reviews
John Hammel from "WNTI" - "Dress of Dawn" is diverse, eclectic, empolying different vocal techniques from Kate Bush to Joni Mitchell with beautiful melodies in the tradition of Brian Wilson.....powerful horn work, zen like lyrics leaving a lot to the list ener's imagination. Mark Blaustein "WVRM" commenting on the title cut "Dress of Dawn" -Terrific..reminiscent of Sondheim...beautiful Melyssa A. Harmon from "Get Fancy" anyone who can appreciate the art of contemporary musicals will embrace Joan Bujacic h with open arms. This artful collction laced in Broadway musicianship bounces from the dramatic, Amy Grant piano and rock synth string pop of "Innocent To Me" to the sad, piano laden story and oddity of lost love and hearts falling apart in "Falling". Thanks a million for sharing your CD, it is one of the valued Indie CD's in heavy rotation here. BEAUTIFUL!!!d |
