Hello Everyone :), It's about time for an overdue update. The
last few months have been spent doing PR work for the last album "Eve and
Mistral" as well as working on several upcoming releases. I figured it was
about time for a taste. I've posted a new piece entitled "Starsong". Original
composed during the aborted "Blue Ruin" sessions awhile back, the song has
finally come out the way I intended it to. Early listeners have said the
production is an improvement over what I've done previously. A few people have
said "Depeche Mode", but I have no idea what they're talking about. Anyway,
have a listen if you please. I have more material to release to you. The next
Ashengrace album is slated for autumn of this year and, well, you'll see :).

| I'm delighted to say
that it appears the response to the new christmas track
"Northern Lights" has been fairly
positive. The track peaked at #8 on the Darkwave
charts. Quite a feat considering 70% of the stuff in
the Darkwave genre is as far from darkwave as you can get.
Also, I'm told by Mike Ventarola
of Hidden
Sanctuary that Ashengrace got a nice play on Bob
Westphal's "The Shape Of Things To Come",
broadcast on 89.1 FM WFDU in the New York area. This
was the more "holiday oriented" show, and you
can hear the rebroadcast of the whole show here

| There's a new song up
on the page called "Northern Lights". This
is an mp3.com only release, and was written for the
holiday season. Also available is our tounge-in-cheeky
version of "Here Comes Santa Claus" we did a
year or so ago for your listening (ahem) enjoyment.
"Coldlight", the single
from the new album "Eve and Mistral" is doing so
far so good. Have a listen. This is the closet
thing we've done to a "club hit" in a long
time.

| Hello everybody,
Well, the first email in ages has
been sent out with oh-so-rousing fanfare to the ashengrace
mailing list. No unsubscribers though, so I can't
complain. I received a very awesome email from
Sandra in NYC about the single "Coldlight", so
I'm most pleased. As far as this update goes, I've
completed a rather intensive update to our homepage at http://www.ashengrace.com
that adds the lyrics to the new album to the lyric
section, as well as a general restructuring of the whole
site. Please head over and check it out. Oh,
and of course, the nifty new banner at the top of this
page. Tres kewl, no?
Four ashengrace tracks are in the
works as we speak. Two are for Mike V's "Gothic
Christmas" station, and the other two are new songs
from the band. You're in for a real treat with one
of them. Keep your eyes out for "Second
Hand".
