"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age."
~ Howard Phillips Lovecraft |

This track was written, originally, in 1992 and re-recorded in 1993. This particular mix of this song was done in 1996 and chosen to appear on the H.P. Lovecraft inspired compilation ZANN from QRD / SIlber Records. The actual origin of this track dates back to 1982 when my grandfather and baby sister died two months apart. There was a period of time where I had absolutely no sense of time and I suffered from terrible nightmares and insomnia. I saw things, or at least I think I saw things... frightening things. Those things were the closet people. I was 8 then and I was incapable of making proper sense out of their deaths. |

This is a re-mix of a song that was written for my (now ex) wife and played at our wedding in 1997 - Seattle, WA. It contains a slow rhythm surrounded by angellic choir-like synths... very moving and beautiful. It also contains vocals. |

A rhythmic middle-eastern darkambient piece. Deep synths swirl about evolving tribal drums highlighted by lush choir-like synthesizers. A very spiritually ethereal experience. |

Here's an oldie I recently dug out from obscurity... lots of lush strings, bass, distorted synth, and fairly rhythmic drum beats. This is definitely one of the more upbeat pieces I've done. Hope you enjoy it too... nice and ambient / ethereal. |
