I'm an original artist who has lived in all parts of the world. I grew up in South America, lived in the Caribbean, resided in Los Angeles, Vancouver and finally settled in Toronto. Relocating for most of my youth does have it's down side, but the up side is that I learned from different cultures about music, about ethnic foods and about equality and getting along with everyone.I saw that in The Caribbean it only took rhythmic drums to make people dance. I have toured North America with various acts but got bored playing covers everynight. I was always writing since my childhood and found I was constipated musically and needed to get the songs out of my head.I met Wayne Brauer (my guitarist/songwriting partner) back in the early 90s and invested with him in SongWorks studio. Since then it has been an outlet for my creativity.I don't like being pigeon holed and avoid sticking to one genre. Today in music I find you have to be one certain style to succeed. I can't be that.I enjoy all kinds of music - ethnic, world, classical, punk, funk, country and everything else in between. Rock and Roll will always be my fave. I find that George Martin & The Beatles, David Bowie and other artists in that vein were never satisfied with one sound. I also believe that people get bored very easily and when you have a CD where every song sounds the same it's a bit redundant. Radio stations across Europe & Australia have different formats where each hour they feature a different genre. It seems that we lucked out by creating a smorgasbord of music. They now feature a different song off the 2nd CD for each genre. For more info you can visit my website at www.reymorillo.com. |

I had the riff in my head for this song. I ran into my old friend Tony (Wild T) Springer who recently returned from working with David Bowie in the U.S. Tony also has a tribute band to Jimi Hendrix called "Fire", he was impressed with the production we were doing at songWorks studio and quickly came on board. I thought this tune would be a perfect vehicle for Tony to show off his great guitar style. I played him the riff over the phone and soon we were recording this track. |

This song is inspired with cruisin' the streets, sexual urges and other temptations that may arise. It has been doing very well overseas and made it's debut on Brest Radio in France. |

This is inspired by a real life story I saw in the news. It's a comedy song similar to a Roy Clark, Jim Stafford, Ray Stevens or Bare Naked Ladies. There's a statement to be made here, I only wish I knew what it is. |

I originally wrote this song as a score for a horror movie along the lines of Interview with a Vampire. The movie was shelved and never released but The Vampire Messiah never dies. |
