A bluegrassish, story-telling song about a guy who spends all his money paying a guitar player, fiddler and banjo player to play while he dances with three little sisters, only to wind up disappointed when, one-by-one, the sisters each run off with a band member. A knee-slapping, dancable tune that features rollicking banjo, fiddle and guitar-based instrumentation.īs | MP3.com CD: Happytown - buy it!

This little ditty is about a group of guys that I go out and about with once a month (on the fourth Thursday). It's another in the "happy to be alive" genre that is prevalent on my upcoming release "Happytown". With the spoken verses, you might call it a middle-class white guy rap song. I'm sure that this one will appeal to any adult lucky enough to have a group of friends to hang out with and act like kids once in awhile. | MP3.com CD: Happytown - buy it!

A straight ahead rocker in the Steve Miller, BTO vein.Highly derivative, but fun. Every once in awhile I've got to do one like this. My wife laughs, because I'm about as far away from a "blue collar man" as you can get, but I think the song captures the "working man's blues" feel pretty well for a guy who has never gotten his fingernails dirty. | MP3.com CD: Happytown - buy it!
