'Help Me Breathe' is the forthcoming single from Munkster to be released in the UK on May 19th 2003 and is the first single to be taken from the band's debut album 'Every Day Could Be The Same'.
"...with the rich vocals of Seb Wesson on hand to bring a twinkling guitar backdrop to its senses, it's soon a subtlety that thrives on echoes of Turin Brakes and a striking maturity. A homage to unpretentious artistry, this is ultimately spirit-lifting stuff." Rock Sound Magazine (May 2003) |

The title track from the bands first release prompted the UK music press to say things like; "...one of the best opening 12 bars I've ever heard" (Andy Inglis - The Fly Magazine), and "...one of the best anthemic indie bangers we've heard in a long time." (www.pennyblackmusic.com). It is also the first track the band ever recorded, what a way to start their recording career. |

Munkster's Medicine is a yet to be classic rock track. It's sultry atmospherics and open heart surgery vocals had www.soundsxp.com claiming that 'all indie rock' should be like this. Released commercially in September 2002 on the band's debut 'A Thousand' ep it has remained a firm favourite with the gig-going public. Watch out for a new studio version for Munkster's debut album 'Every Day Could Be The Same'. |

'Everyone Knows Your Name' is a true indie/pop crossover track. The addictive melodies and catchy chorus make one listen enough to have you singing it in your head all day. Whilst structurally the song shows all facets of Munkster's true ability; outstanding songwriting, the textrured guitars overlaid with vocal harmonics that will please those looking for a catchy tune to play in the car equally as those looking for a true rock song. |

New Disease is a fun little number, only 1 min 30 secs long in its album form, it is a rock & roll espresso! Great crunchy textured guitars with vocal melodies which see singer Seb Wesson step a little out of character with good effect. The track really shows the flexibility and depth of the Munkster sound, and shows off their ability to make music to suit the moment. |
