It's hard to find appropriate words to explain what "Verities" is about: it's progressive, it's heavy, it's poetic -- it's Taranis. The song was composed by G. Tentler and led the whole band to new experiences, and nobody expected Andy could sing the way he does at "Verities" (including himself *g*). "Verities" turned out to be THE song at live shows though again the band did not expect such a euphoric reaction from the crowd and was quite surprised about the feedback. You better listen and find out yourself what the song and the lyrics are about (but be assured that they really do have a meaning, though it may not appear to you so at the first glance *g*). | MP3.com CD: The Thunderer - buy it!

The long-desired third and final part of Taranis' "Hobbit Trilogy". This ballad was composed by G. Tentler and it is the very first song featuring Y. Debold, the latest member, playing flutes. "To the Havens" describes Frodo Baggin's (one of the heroes in J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings") feelings and thoughts after having decided to leave his beloved home, the shire. Thus this song has a bit of a sad and melancholy mood, a ballad without pianos, based on acoustic-guitar harmonies and well-rounded by the flutes and Andy's voice. | MP3.com CD: The Thunderer - buy it!
