The long-desired third and final part of Taranis' "Hobbit Trilogy". This ballad was composed by G. Tentler and it is the very first song featuring Y. Debold, the latest member, playing flutes. "To the Havens" describes Frodo Baggin's (one of the heroes in J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings") feelings and thoughts after having decided to leave his beloved home, the shire. Thus this song has a bit of a sad and melancholy mood, a ballad without pianos, based on acoustic-guitar harmonies and well-rounded by the flutes and Andy's voice.

    Story Behind the Song

    Lyrics
Now that I'm back home again, in the shire's fields,
I still can't find no peace of mind.
Too much's changed since I have left, nothing's the same no more,
I wonder where I do belong?

I still recall that fateful day when I finally went away
and left the place I held so dear.
My curiosity had grown to experience the unknown,
it had conquered all my fears.

But yet I had no hunch of those things that were to come,
all the dangers and the pains.

Never in my weirdest dreams I had assumed
that my whole life would change entirely.

So many hurts I had to sustain but somehow I don't complain
even if they never heal again.
Sometimes there just ain't too much choice than to make some sacrifice,
'though I did not think the Lamb was me.

Now there's a craving deep inside that keeps on growing day and night,
I know I have to leave once more.

There's a place across the sea where I long to be,
to the havens I will go.
Farewell my friends, the time is due,
maybe some day we'll meet again.
Maybe one day we'll meet again.
