Here is Lee Jones' latest album, "The Calm After The Storm". This is a collection of country/country rock songs, there are nine originals and one cover song. All nine originals written by Lee Jones. Never attempting to deny being labled as a musical tyrant, Lee plays all the instruments, does all the vocals, engineers the studio sessions, even does the mastering and artwork for his CDs. One small note, if you are looking for Nashville style cookie cutter country music with the same old worn out, tired guitar licks, and the same old look alike, sound alike, dress alike, tell the same jokes, never been on stage before being discovered country "artists" then GO AWAY! This stuff is for real - the guy has his own guitar style, and his own singing style - which evolved from playing for audiences all across the country for more than just a year or two. Only one way to see if this music is for real or not - give it a listen.

A song I wrote - my lamenting about the condition of today's music business - I obviously miss the good old days and the folks who used to go out to their favorite country bar or dance hall and listen and dance to live music. |
