This composition, Traffic musically goes to and expresses the "noise, distractions, and unsettling static of the awakened mind." For many, it manifests itself into a constant state of mind. For the fortunate and enlightened ones, it is merely an event that comes before the calmness, the serenity, and the peace we can all attain by contemplating the total absence of traffic... Tight, pounding, pulsating track nailed by orchestral blasts over a grid of techno vocal riffs that pace the 130 bpm nonstop rhythm. It's musical traffic in E-major that weaves in and out of tonal qualities and voicings. Techno House dance/vocal with hard-hitting basslines and percussive beats that propels the listener into a 'millennium trance of kicks & beats' that becomes relentless and gritty. As the techno track reaches its apex, the instrumentation and voicing yields to a haunting and soulful refrain. For the last movement, the rhythm descends to a slow funky spell of electric lead and guitar sirens as the piece winds down and ultimately trails off... Excerpt of a comp/temp track for Fragile, a film in development in the UK, entitled "Sisters" which musically expresses a theme, mysterious and haunting in nature. Three musical versions of this recurring theme exist in the present score. This version features mainly the strings whereas in other versions the strings' progression and voicing becomes diminished while other melody lines play above it. Excerpt of closing music for "Fragile", a film in development in Europe. Truly reflective, airy, and fluid orchestral strains that stand apart from and in contrast to the highly emotive, tempestuous, tangled romantic music states that occur throughout the film which builds to its climatic conclusion. Film music that characterizes resolve and subtle finality as it plays over and above haunting harmonies and melodies that once dominated the film score. A great place to live 2 Kickass Drive! In keeping with its title, this track is a drum 'n bass attack with fem and male rap riffs. While metal slaps with quick instrumental voicings layering the track, the percussive shots fire the beat and fans the flames through each measure to the end. Another taut and spectral track from the "The Presence", a film under development in the UK-Europe. "Earthbound" expresses the struggle of an entity that cannot escape the realm of earth due to supernatural forces and unfinished business that binds him to this sphere of existence. Accompanied by other earthbound spirits that are evil, a father and husband must battle the forces of evil on earth and beyond to protect his family before he can ensure their safety and future. This track reprises the "main theme" in part while agonizing strains of captivity and voices from beyond chill and threaten. Musical expression that relates to the historical "tragedy-at-sea" suffered by the Russian submarine, Kursk and its over 100 man crew in 2000. Three musical movements score the Kursk's cruise to sea, the firing of the test missile that imploded aboard the Kursk while on the surface, and lastly, the ghastly descent to the murky bottom of the sea where a third of the crew who had survived the initial missile blast, waited in vain for a rescue attempt that was not a timely or logistically a viable option, and ultimately loss their lives. At least one sailor, scribbled a note to his loved ones which was discovered days later... Second movement of the title composition, Voyage Of The Kursk. This movement is subtitled, "Seconds Before Missile Launch" referring to the telling firing of a missile which was the key sequence of the Russian nuclear submarine, Kursk's mission at sea in 2000. This musical composition expresses the moments before firing and then the subsequent firing of the doomed missile which resulted in the tragic sinking of the Kursk and the loss of over 100 souls. Third movement of the "Voyage Of The Kursk" trilogy subtitled, "Descent To The Bottom." Musically expressive of the historical ordeal of the Russian nuclear submarine, Kursk that suffered a missile implosion while on a training mission tragically sending the ship and its crew to the ocean's floor last year, 2000. This the final musical piece in the trilogy, emotively relates the post-explosion descent from the surface of the sea to the murky bottom where the submarine sank even deeper into the muddy floor while tremendous pressure caved in the craft and sea water rushed in, drowning the 36 Russian sailors that survived the initial blast.
