A soulful West African Folk medley, featuring the talents of one of Africa's most prodigious exponents of the Acoustic Palmwine Guitar- Oscar Elimbi as well as the subtle but powerful percussions of Samson Olawale. The vocals being in the male choral style popular with several African Tribes and in this case the Igbo of Eastern Nigeria.
These songs being a Traditional medley and made popular as a vehicle of expression by the Igbo's during the Nigerian Civil war- in the hope of making sense of the injustice that was their lot. |
