March 2001 - After recording the ultra-demanding Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in August 2000, I began transcribing and learning the Bruch g minor. The Bruch concerto had been my favorite for quite a while. Although it's not as flashy as the Tchaikovsky, it's very beautiful and superbly written. I recorded both of these pieces on electric guitar. That's not the sort of thing you see everyday. I'm currently working on a transcription of a modern concerto that I hope to have available by the fall/winter of 2001.
