	This is a recording of the first movement of my transcription for electric guitar of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto. The first movement is very beautiful and challenging and demands a lot of endurance. I began working on the transcription about eight years ago. I recorded it once three years ago but wasn't satisfied. In this recording, I'm accompanied by an orchestra of synthesizers.

	Story Behind the Song When I was studying in London, the Royal College of Music had a sale of old sheet music. In that sale, I picked up a copy of Auer's edition of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. I began transcribing parts of the first movement to impress my friends and to play in live concerts. As I transcribed more and more sections, I realized that I ought to transcribe the whole thing. I finished the transcription of the first movement in college and my roommate would accompany me to help me practice. After college, I finished up the transcription and recorded it.
