| Vortex is an instrumental progressive rock suite written for synth orchestra. It features Hammond B3 organ and Moog synthesizers as the lead instruments. The piece is dedicated to the composers of the early 70s-a time when I feel music had more substance than a lot of the cookie cutter music we hear today. The middle of the tune features acoustic piano and two classical guitars playing a quieter part that provides contrast between the other loud and raw sections. Crank it up and enjoy! |
