Here is a spaced out groove we improvised "live" in the studio. The very next day we brought our friend Dub-E on the synth and
Ryan on SK5 samples. Organic trance music. |

This one did very well in the summer of 2000 for the band. It reached # 7 on the top 40, #1 in Popular Rock, and held the top slot in the Psychedelic charts for over 3 months straight. It is about a protest gone bad was written during the Humboldt County pepperspray incident in Oct 1997. The song puts you in the shoes of the peacefull Earth First protesters as they were horribly tortured by police. Help stop the violence! Hang out a while this one is fifteen minutes and the middle section is the wierdest part, with a mixture of Dub and Reggae. Lysten with caution. |

A funked out happy song, with driving acoustic guitar chords, ending with a sweet jam session . . .Written by Ryan Cassidy and Something Different. Even though we are not Vegan: this song goes out to all the people in the world who are fighting the good fight. . .especially those we know in Humboldt County. |

A nice mellody with cool soothing electric Rhodes piano backed by a quiet beat. Some of our fans call it a sitcom theme but in general it is just music that makes you smile. |

Recorded live in Pamplin Grove during the wedding reception of Drew and Teri Devine, this funky tune is written by Russman. After a beautiful wedding under the old growth redwoods our show was a magical one. This song isn't about babysitting kids, it is about babysitting in the circle of jah inspiration. So don't be a babysitter. |

The Slackadelic sound in a nutshell. Wrapped with a wet Wah-Wah pedal backed by a smooth slide guitar. This song evolves slowly into a fierey funk jam then dynamicly resolves back to a serious melody. Designed to uplift the soul. |

This song is some funked up Slackadelic stuff. Eventually the song gets very trippy and zones you out. The Drum break is a intro to "Keshwan" which is a festive type of jam written by Kevin Kotaka aka keshwan. Keshwan features a cool slide guitar melody by Ryan Cassidy. In Concert these tunes are crowd pleasing jams that lead into other terrain evelating the conscious mind. "The Judge" was first jammed with lead vocalist Judge Murphy of the bay area band Zero playing Erin's drums. We have more unreleased songs that you can't find anywhere but on our two CD's below, so get them while you can and help support the band. |
