Very bebop like. Hollow body guitar plays head while bass plays walking bass line. After an interesting diminished unison section, guitar one solos while guitar plays changes. Bass continues walking bass line. During this section I play pencils on a piece of cardboard for percussion. It sounds a lot cooler than you might think. It's a very original sound. |

Funk with crazy, fast, whole tone guitar solo. Acoustic plays the rhythm and electric plays the solo. |

This song is short but sweet. It is melodic and flowing and kind of sounds like what rain would sound like if it were put to music. Acoustic guitar plays main body of the song while two electrics play harmonies and volume swells. |

This is a song of yearning. It is piano with orchestral accompaniment; mostly English Horn and strings. It's very legato and melodic. It has a sad, lonely quality intertwined with moments of hope. |

A funny, light hearted, goofy song. The song opens with an actual vacuum cleaner that I recorded in the studio. My friend Jake and I then barked on three seperate tracks. Then the guitar plays a goofy little chordal thing based on A dom.7 b9 b13. In the background you can hear me screaming "Get Down!" |

Very dark. Notte Di Miseria is Italian for night of misery. It begins and ends with the main theme from Chopin's funeral march but with piano and electric guitars instead of just piano. Bass and drums kick in at the end making for a very heavy dramatic piece. In the middle is a part that I wrote that is an electric guitar solo and then a harmonized duo guitar solo over a beautiful piano section. |

Moonlight In Vermont done as a chord melody with lots of fills and done on an acoustic guitar. Eventually, guitar two comes in and does a solo. Suddenly, another guitar starts playing a jaws theme sounding thing while guitar one plays the melody for Moonlight. The harmonic structure here is very, very interesting. |

This song is a ten minute epic. Frequent time changes and many different parts make for a very difficult song. Acoustic guitar plays the main body of the song while two electrics play solos and harmonies and melodies. It starts soft and mysterious sounding. It slowly picks up until it eventually goes into this insane acoustic and electric speed metal section. There are 132nd note triplets at this part. It's very, very fast. There are no bass or drums which makes it sound very interesting. Just acoustic and electric together in crushing harmony. I was going to call it an electric guitar distortion concerto. The crazy part fades out and it goes into a pretty, flowing part that kind of sounds like the calm after the storm. It then goes back to the mysterious sounding beginning section and ends. |
