Artist History Mingo started to compose and sing his own material circa 1981. Owner of a unique voice and style of singing, recently Mingo joined forces with some of the best players in town to form his supporting group 'Arara's band', featuring Marcus Vinicius on guitars, Valdo França on keys and the mighty rhythm section formed by Romulo Filho (drums) and Emanuel Jorge (bass). In 1999, Mingo released his 1st album, 'SOM DAS ARARAS' (in English: 'Macaw's sound') with a show full of improvisation and highlight passages from all musicians including Mingo himself (all songs on this page were taken live from this show). Currently Mingo works on his second album, and continues to write songs of all styles/genres. His ecletism shifts from heavy rock to brazilian folk music with authority, smoothness and excellence.
