Artist History Dominion has been playing together for about a year and a half. Since January of 98' the band has played at schools and many different parties. In September 98', they played in the 'Riverton Battle of the Bands'. They won second place and were awarded six hours of studio recording time. The result was a four track self-titled CD under the bands former name, 'Sudden'. They were not happy with the way the CD turned out, so after selling about forty copies they decided to put it on the back burner, and concentrate on writing and improving their live performance. In the months following, the band started having problems with their singer Mike. In January 99' after a successful show with just the four of them, they decided to part ways. Since that time Alex Smith has been the full time singer. So with a new voice, a new name was necessary to make sure things would be different. The definition of the name 'Dominion' describes what the band wants to be, supreme authority.
