Artist History
Amy was 25 and Don's boss when she discovered her 43 year old greying employee played guitar. They got together on lunch breaks to work on some cover tunes, but Don nagged Amy into getting a portable tape recorder to record her song poems with. Don then set the melodies to guitar chords and rhythms. Don invited a friend from his church band, Judy, over to play flute on some cover tunes. Soon Judy was singing and playing guitar as well, and writing her own new songs too. Plus, she had to learn bass so Don could show off once in a while on Judy's nice new Stratocaster (and break strings for her). After a while, Judy brought in her drummer friend, the one-of-a-kind Fran, who brought her rainstick. |
