Musical Influences
Bob Seger had significant influence on vocals, musical style and instrumentation, especially piano. Tom Waits has influenced on many elements (vocals, style, instrumentation, form) but only for a limited number of my songs. Have attempted classical arrangements in a select few. Randy Newman's tongue-in-cheek has influenced the lyrics on a few occasions and his piano style has also been an influence. |
