Artist History
LF existed from 1986-1988, aspiring to no particular style, just freeform creative musical aspirations. A more detailed history will be written soon with help from all the band members. In 1987, they were able to record 16 original songs over 2 sessions. Many more tunes were on the back burner and ready when the flame burned out in 1988. Fast-forward to 1999: The original multi-track tapes were reformatted to digital. The remix of these gems has always been a dream, and has now become a labor of love. These songs are their only studio recording archives. Two songs are still being remixed, and are not posted here yet. They are "The Giant" and "Starrise". When they are completed, a CD will finally be pressed. Also featured is the ambient experiment "Wheel". It is the closest thing to a post-LF studio recording in existence. The CD will be available early in 2000. So stay tuned! |

Press Reviews
Liquid Flame always demanded more from modern music. The band's songs left an impression on many who were fortunate enough to hear their recordings. They had a well-oiled chemistry, and became extremely tight. The shape-shifting freeform creative expression of their music was ahead of its time, and is still viable in today's contemporary scene. The band members will always remember Liquid Flame with fondness as a milestone in their lives and an early highlight of their musical endeavors. |
