Artist description 1 man band from ole Sydney town. Noise destroys & groove soothes. Gloriously incompetent, self-taught, no respect for musical discipline. Likes being DIY but would sell out given 1/2 the chance. Basically indie but not yr generic geetar pop schlock, not afraid to veer off in various directions, often simultaneously. Considering the music he listens to is ridiculed more than enough even when like for instance Ornette Coleman it is true art, it is likely FMG's audience will remain cultish. Sometimes friends help out like Bumscuzz, Mr Bollinger, Farnz Schmidt etc. existing on the fringe of the fringe, not only music from the other side of the fence but ripped the fence right down.

Artist History Started recording sporadically in 1995. Decided to release a tape including these recording along w/ spoken bits as the soundtrack tape to my zine Chunky Yet Funky. Decided to really get a label happening [Bulbous Confusion] & get my music out there. I have been DJing @ the Lansdowne hotel a few times now, & people genuinely enjoy it. Also I collaborate w/ the mighty Vocabularinist. The album's coming soon & maybe a split 7". Actually the tape is ready now, a proper cd will be out on mp3.com soon but if you're desperate there's a cd out here now EXCLUSIVELY: Superdodgy Smeghead Sounds Volume #1, when more stuff piles up volume #2 will no doubt surface. So far, there has only been 1 FMG solo show, a 20 minute keyboard & drum machine impro in a warehouse in Marrickville, a suburb of Western Sydney [there is a short version of Stage Performance you can hear here]. A remix album split thingy w/ DJ Urinal Cake will be available soon.
