Artist description
Leron A. Kattan A.K.A. Truse (the guy in the middle).... Hold on, hold on...What does that mean. Artist description... Does that mean my identity. what it is I do. What people said about me. Is that who I am? Well if a description is required...I guess I am a human being that is concerned with the suffering of others. I love music, and I express my pain and my view of the sorrows of the world through conscious hip hop. |

Artist History
My main goal in life is to free myself of my history. That way I won't be like a bundle of conditioned reflexes. The past binds me. It holds me down to its old ways. When I free myself of my history, when I let go of the a past that enslaves me to its conditioning, I feel light and free. Everyone gets burned out. But every moment is fresh. Every second is a new second. And the past is an illusion. Mind created unreality. A fiction composed by the mind. And then it comes in and takes away my inspiration. No longer can life flow through me. I have given myself to thought. All the deamons created in mythology are of the mind. They have no bearing on reality but have a strong influence on our minds. Therefore we live in a world of fatasy, an anxious yearning for the future. Our past keeps us trapped to an illusory self...But because you asked. I grew up in Los Angeles and starteed rapping after hearing Wu-tang, Mobb Deep, and Naz. I realized that I could express my pain, and my concerns for the world through hip hop and now I am recording music that puts my poetry in motion. I don't have any fancy stories of past fame, all I have is this moment. And in this moment I'm trying to become free of my history. Maybe if the world would become free of it's history there would be no more genocides, no more wars, no more unneeded pain... |

Press Reviews
I don't have any...Hopefully one day I won't be so concerned with what others say, especially newspapers, media outlets, society that builds you up and tears you down. One day you are a star, the next decade you are on the verge of suicide due to the same forces that riveted your mind, and promised you great thing, like a million dollars, or fame. On our last breath, the same people that gave us our identity, kick us when we are down. How strange, The same people that raise your thrown bury your casket. |
