Press Reviews
Reviewer: Nanci Lenaure
I wasn't surprised at the artistry and musicianship
of this CD - I happen to know that Marty Batista
is one of those world class musical prodigies that
takes his instrument and turns it inside out with
technique and ability.
I was pleasantly thrilled with the musical mastery
and dynamic sense of balance that this album offer
s.I loved every tune - which is unsusual nowadays.
This album gives the appearance that it was put
together effortlessly, which shows real
production talent. It's not overproduced,
overinstrumentalized, overdone, etc. . .
It left me feeling satisfied and pressing the
re-play button, with a smile on my face.
Kudos to you Marty! Can't wait for the next one.
One to watch!
