Artist History Mercenary 6 aka Maurice K. Lawson was raised in the East Bay area of Pittsburg,CA. Born on August 20 1979, he was influenced by music and other musicians in his family though he was the only one who was interested in hip hop. All though hip hop wasn't always part of the plan, Maurice was also your basic knucklehead who ran the streets with his crew while growing up through his childhood and middle school years until his mother moved him to the city of San Jose,Ca. Merc 6 graduated from high school without any problems and continued to get his degree in Computer Business since it was only right since he was in the Silicon Valley. He reunited with close friend Daniel Jones who he started to attend church with. He began to see the fruits that were before him and realized the path of fighting and fornication cannot be everlasting!
