Artist History The Waking Jane project started in 1993, when founding members, Dave Gibbs and Bob Bader, decided to try something new. Wading through the cover band scene for over a decade, most recently with Steel Breeze, they decided to start an all original band. Drawing from a variety of styles including blues, jazz, funk, rock, pop and metal, they melded these together to form a unique style. A style that culminated in the recording and release of Rattle the Cages, their debut album.
