Billabong Boys got together in 1998 and produced
a CD titled Billabong Ballads. Each animal is
represented in their own unique musical style. |

In addition to the Zoo Twilights jazz concerts
there will be an additional special event.
* Billabong Ballads CD launch - Saturday, 4pm
The delightful Billabong Ballads CD composed by
Chum Creek Primary School teacher Chris Matthews,
this CD looks at Australia's wonderful wildlife.
Songs such as 'Funny Frogs', 'Lots of Lizards',
'Pelican Can', and 'Is Echidna' will delight the
Zoo audience on Saturday.
The music was first presented publicly at the Zoo
in October, when Chum Creek students sang the
'A Wombat Might' song at the opening of Zoo's new
Australian Bush exhibit. |
