For those seeking a remedy for heartbreak and
paranoia, Dying Like Us are two chicks and two guys who know
it well. A sound that is experimental as well as
sticking to what works. Dying Like Us is a band

Artist History
Dying Like Us began in December of 2002. Psych
fiction writer, Lisa Menzel and indie guitarist,
Jennifer Jonelis teamed up to bring a blend of
hardcore backings to slocore lead vocals. Jonelis
taught Menzel guitar. Dying Like Us found a
beautiful acoustic realm to reign in.
In April of 2003, the girls decided to invite
their friends Sam and Matt Nallen of Rogue Bloc
to play drum and bass for them in the pursuit of
an electric project. The result is a four piece
a fierce impact and great imagination. |
