Artist description
We are a three-piece band that runs the gamut from nice acoustic folk stuff to powerful guitar-driven melody-oriented rock using real amps and real drums and real guitars dernit. You will hear no synthesizers on any of our material. (actually the organ is a modern b3 ripoff but that doesn't count) We actually play our instruments. Thank you. We love you people. Now where da white women at... |

Artist History
Rusty Horn and the BUZZBEES have had several incarnations over their ten-year span of existence...The fabulous drummer Steve Ebe used to play with Human Radio, now accompanies headlining country stars as well as theBUZZBEES... Buzzbee Kurt Carrick is a phenomenal bassist and harmony singer extraordinaire who is a production technician for Faith Hill and many other headlining acts. Rusty Horn comes from a background in radio, having worked at several different stations throughout the southeast. He is well known around town for his songwriting,singing,guitar-playing and sound engineering skills...We're also related to certain members of the phenomenal bluegrass tribute group and Dualtone/Western Beat recording artists Hayseed/DIXIE--Internationally famous, they cover AC/DC's music in a way we promise you've never heard before...Unless of course you've heard them! May the BUZZBEE with you...And also with you... |

Press Reviews
I/We try to keep a low profile, but recently someone snuck a copy of "Buzzbee Love" into the hands of Neil Strauss of the New York Times News Service. He was fairly concise with his review, saying only that he liked the album, especially the way it began like bluesy rock'n'roll, then took a sweet turn into gospel. RECOMMENDED BY THE NY TIMES NEWS SERVICE...We also were able to pass a copy to Tim Dubois formerly of Arista records and Gaylord Entertainment here in Nashville. He said he liked it. (He actually listened to it!) What a nice man he is. A genuine decent guy in a rotten business. There are also a few regular old folks out there who (God love them) are pretty devoted fans of theBUZZBEES. May there be many more! |
