Hello and welcome friends, to our humble little corner of the information superhighway.
We hope you'll stick around for a few and listen to some of our tunes. I must also say, that I would incredibly appreciate it if you would buy the BuZzbee Love CD. It won't dissapoint you. Some wonderful people worked on it. First and foremost I'd like to thank Almighty God for keeping me alive and blessing me beyond words... Next I thank Tommy Williams for the magic and great drumming, singing, and all around buZzbeeism. My great friend and harmonois' singer extraordinaire and bassist/problem-solver Kurt Carrick for the love and the family! Scotty Neubert for the teer in your beer dobro and slide... Curtis Stone for engineering, co-producing the first overdub sessions. I still owe you big, pal. Love y'all... Also thanks to David Mead for that soopah-high harmony on "Raggedy Ann." Thank you very much to Jack's Guitar Bar, where I hosted the writer's nite for four or five years. We were voted best "behind the Bluebird" in my next to last year. It was my last year of drinking hopefully God willing. Unfortunately Jack went broke about a year after I stopped "subsidizing" his income. I think he must have definitely given me more beers than I ever bought there though, God bless him. Jack's writing a very good book now and I'm begging him regularly for new chapters--it's about the Johnson County Wars. It's called "Territory."
I also want to humbly thank world-renowned producer/guitarist Michael Stewart for the grueling days we spent mixing this thing. Thank you so much for all your efforts! What a set of ears you have. Also I need to thank Paul Scoggin, an old roommate of mine who loved the music so much he paid for a session to record "Walk on by me Blues." I actually cut him in for some of my writing percentages on a few songs. Go NAVY!!! This record represents the best recordings I had done over a twenty year writing and recording and learning-humility process. I've had nothing but rave comments (from my friends). But I actually think it isn't half bad. IF you want a actual cd file of it I'd be happy to supply you with one but you'll have to come by the trailer! Oh yeah, thanks to Jake Aikens for slowing down on his drinking and playing some darn fine bass on this stuff... Mike Radovski played drums
(very well) on a couple songs too--"Ordinary World" and "Raggedy Ann." Thanks Mike and we'll still get together some time and cut Seattle right I swear! Did I say thanks to Curtis Stone? I forgot to put it on the cd graphics unfortunately. Sorry Man! Thanks also to Mighty Webmaster Jubal Lee Young. You can't read it on his t-shirt (below) but he opened for the BuZzbees one night at Jack's with "I won't ride on your spaceship if I can't take MY BALLS!" written on it! It was about the time of the suicide spacetrekkies cult tragedy. Thanks Rose, and thanks Peter Hyrka for the squeeze and mando... Thanks Brett Bryant for the organ, and thanks Nate Scates and Coy Owen for the trench-Dubfare... I still love those 10-minute mixes Nate did on that old MCI... They are up on my other site here at www.mp3.com/uncle_daddy
God bless you, and God bless America.
love,
theBuZzbees
