Artist History Down For Five was formed in the spring of 2001 by guitarist Janna Kinder, bassist Ken Kinder, and drummer Aaron White, all hailing from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Later that year, vocalist Syke Mochek joined the group to round out the lineup.
