Down For Five was formed in the spring of 2001 by guitarist Janna Kinder, bassist Ken Kinder, and drummer Aaron White, all hailing from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Later that year, vocalist Syke Mochek  joined the group to round out the lineup.

Down For Five is currently playing shows in Tulsa, the surrounding region, and beyond.

In addition to original material, Down For Five has worked up an array of cover tunes, all of the modern, hard rock/metal nature, but its heart lies in its original material, which can be described as alternative metal with a groove. Please visit downforfive.com
