Apart from Elvis, Mike's main musical influences were Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran and Chuck Berry who were all singer/guitarists. Jerry Lee Lewis was also a favourite of Mike's for his unique style |

Artist History
In 1962 Mike and his band, The Vibratones, spent time in Germany when British bands were all the rage there. Between 1962 and 1966 he made several recordings with The Vibratones as well as doing occasional session work. During his service with the Royal Air Force from 1966 to 1975 Mike continued to delight audiences across the world, including places like Cyprus, Malta and Hong Kong. In 1978 Mike won the Entertainer of the Year Award in the UK and in 1980 he returned to Hong Kong.
