Artist description
Erik is a rare breed of saxophonist as his musical voice has been found in classical literature in its broadest sense. He is known for his dark, singing tone and the expressive nature of his playing. His setup consists of a Selmer Super Action 80 Series II alto saxophone, a custom Ronald Caravan mouthpiece, and Rovner ligatures. He also performs on a Selmer Super Action 80 Series III Soprano saxophone. Always in tune? Nope. Lightning technical skills? Nope. Musical, fun, and expressive? Now we're talking. |
