Artist description
Steve Neale is 31 years of age and has taken up residency in Tamworth, New South Wales where he hopes he can begin work writing for the next recording. Late April has been predicted for the new studio sessions.
This former boy scout just scrapes in on the talent side and he has plenty of enthusiasm and good humour to carry on and promises his fans that he’ll look after his golden tonsils leading up to the next studio sessions.
When asked about the newer songs he says, “there will be some more heavier tracks, a little thicker and slicker in the guitar shop and a few more easier tunes. We might even slap in some electronica over a country hook or something. Either way it’ll be worth more than your lucky $7 internet sweep…we’ll be making sure there’s no crap on it.”

Artist History
Steve Neale , recently gained fame with fans when he turned his tongue muscle into disc spinning and Djing for fans on the South Coast. “I spent a few months at the helm of Power FM, a radio station on the coast. You know, we watched the whales swimming up shore to migrate whilst playing live to listeners and also at the local clubs. It was kinda exciting promoting music in that way and it also gave me an appreciation of what crap the radio announcers have to put up with. You know, it was amazing how many CD’s the radio stations were receiving each week and most of the time the kids were already requesting the songs. I slipped a few of mine in their playlists and tooled around in the studios on some electronica grind..it was fun alright.”
The country seems to always be financially inaccessible for most bands and Steve Neale says “rural and regional areas are a little out of the way for most bands, but while I was staying we had The Whitlams writing an album down the road, Flea dropped in to his Australian home, a local kid got picked up for bass playing duties by The John Butler Trio and Grant Walmsley from the Jets dropped in for a few acoustic sessions, so yeah, maybe in some places but I’ve found it just as interesting. We had Cyclone Tracey and The Gadflys call up from Melbourne and both those bands had a fair turn out and up and coming politicians…ah sorry…really interested fans. The coastal route is definitely a popular stop for bands and fans get a really shimmy out of it too.”
