Artist description
Best described by the Nashville Scene as "Funk-inflected Folk Rock", Sarah's music extends both genres and regions. This summer she's received warm welcome at colleges like "the University of Detroit". Her travels this year have taken her to famous venues such as "Club Passim" in Boston and "The Bluebird Cafe" in Nashville. Entertaining a Tulsa crowd for Summer's Fifth Night with Debbie Campbell, among the few venues on her extended touring this past summer 2003.

Press Reviews
Part sweltering Americana, part flat-out rock, Popejoy's songs call to mind both Lucinda Williams and Ani Difranco for their intensity and intelligence.
