Artist History James Gilchrist plays acoustic pop in NYC's village, incorporating gypsy/Celtic folk influences and harmonizations into his music. He's been wandering about the city with a guitar on his back for about 4 years now, but he's been wrestling with his songwriting habit for at least 10. This habit, though occasionally in remission, resulted in his spending the 90's traipsing about, guitar in hand, in such diverse locales as Orlando, FL; The Outer Banks, NC; Gettysburg, PA; Detroit, MI; New Paltz, NY; and even quayside in Wickford, RI.
