Artist description
Christian songwriter/singer. I consider my calling to be that of an Evangelist through music. I think the music basically boils down to two major themes. The first being the absolute necessity of being saved by grace through faith in what Jesus did on the cross, you must be born again. The second major theme is the purpose that God has for each one of us after we're saved. I believe each one of us is gifted in some way to help build up the body of Christ. I don't believe we can live a truly fulfilled life until God shows us that purpose and we allow Him to work it out through us. I would appreciate it very much if you would help me spread the Gospel by sharing the link to this page with your friends. Thanks, Mike. |

Music Style
Christian Country with a little bit of a Pop feel on some songs. |

Musical Influences
Ray Boltz, Rich Mullins and Keith Green. As far as inspiration for writing the songs, I get most of it from daily Bible study. I also read a lot of sermons from some of the great preachers of the past. My favorite ones are G. Campbell Morgan, Charles Spurgeon, John Henry Jowett, George H. Morrison, Alexander Maclaren, John Bunyan, James S. Stewart, Joseph Parker, Watchman Nee and A. W. Tozer just to name a few. I try to walk with the wise and hopefully it shows in the songs. |

Similar Artists
Some of the songs would fit well with Ray Boltz's style of music. I strive for a depth in the songs similar to the way Rich Mullins and Keith Green did. |
