Artist History JP was born and raised in Neptune City, NJ. At 14 he started learning to play Keyboards. At 18 decided to learn Bass, self-taught as well. In the mid 80's he lived in South Florida and toured around the South East for a couple of years with a cover band, later putting time in recording studios and doing sound for bands that played live shows. In 1990, JP jumped on the opportunity to come back to the NY / NJ area to build on his music career. Some of the studios where he has recorded in are: The Record Plant/NYC, RCA Sigma/NYC, Showplace/NJ, City Lights/NJ, amongst others. He has had the chance to play, freelance & record with really talented musicians from all around... A great learning experience. All of the music on this site was written, produced & engineered by JP Savino. All of this music was recorded at JP's studio which is called Yin Yang Recording Studio in Asbury Park, NJ.
