    Artist History
He learned the basics on musical notation and playing the flute at primary school at the age of 7. When he was 13 he started playing the keyboard but lost interest in no time. At the age of 14 he heard a classic guitar for the first time and he was facinated with its sound. He started playing but within a year, and after listening to bands like MetallicA and Megadeth, he realized that the electric guitar was his instrument. He started taking guitar lessons with Rolo Marquez. Four months later he was performing in a bar with some of his teacher's students. Soon, bands like Rhapsody y Stratovarius began to influence deeply on him. Then Angra and Yngwie Malmsteen and the rediscovery of Queen. At the beginning of the year 2000, he began to play with Javier Ale, a friend who also liked power metal and neoclassical music. But soon his influences would change again by listening to Satriani, and the separation was inevitable. After half year of frustration when not being able to find people to play with, he concentrated on his solo projects and began to write. At the beginning of the year 2001 his influences didn't change, but were added bands like Dream Theater, King Crimson, Dixie Dregs, Atake del Dragon, Presto Vivace; and artists like Steve Vai, Allan Holdsworth, Al DiMeola, Steve Howe, Alex Lifeson, Paco de Lucia, Steve Morse, Michael Manring and Stuart Hamm. On December 18th, 2001, Alejandro had the opportunity to expose a simplified version of New Day in front of a crowded theater and he had the best of the answers. Among other, he also played "Little Caprices" and an improvised assemble.
