Artist History
OL had its humble beginnings in the fall of 1998 when Bob, who was performing as a solo artist, invited his friend, David, to accompany him for a set. The two formed a productive musical partnership based on a near-perfect blend of similarities and differerences with respect to musical ideas. They played around Eugene and Corvallis (Oregon) as a two-piece for about a year. Various band names were tried and discarded. In winter of 1999, Vic, who had played in various bands with Dave since high school, joined the band. Shortly thereafter the band settled on the its current name, taken from an episode of THE SIMPSONS. As of this writing (January, 2002) the band is on hiatus, while the members pursue various musical and personal eneadvors. However, a full-length CD should be realeased any day now, and the band will be reuniting in Portland, Oregon this coming spring. Stay tuned for more information and fun stuff. |
