Artist description When it comes to categorization, many artists would prefer not to be cast into one classification or another to describe each and every song they produce, or even their general sound. However, it becomes necessary to verbally portray an artist or group in terms of genre or influence in order to give a glimpse into the scope of their music. Simply stating it’s reflection on many aspects and styles neither says that the music is macro-eclectic or a reproduced rehash. To say it is difficult to label says nothing still. To say that the style is rock… Once again, does not say much.

Similar Artists I like to think my music is original even though I am influenced every day by elements around me. Some of my favorite bands include: Beatles, Wilco, Golden Smog, Gear Daddies and Neil Diamond.

Artist History The small town Minnesota native has been writing and recording music for many years, biding the time for it’s release by previewing his songs through intimate performances to small audiences in the U.S., Mexico, and in Europe during this last year. Recently, with major investments of time, finances and emotions (non-respectively, of course), and with his latest additions to a professional recording studio, the artist has been able to complete productions on the debut material. "It feels like it’s all been happening forever and I’m just now able to realize it", shares Raukar, who recently made a lane change from a career in psychology and running a recording studio to full time rocker, relocating to the Los Angeles area. "I was trying to live two strangely similar, yet very separate lives simultaneously, but I think I was doing both passions an injustice. Now I can focus on the music, and it feels very natural. The work I was doing with kids definitely influences the music I write today".
