Artist History
I began making Hip Hop loops under the moniker "the Gautch" in the late 80's with an Akai S-01 Sampler, mixer, and two turntables. I took about a six or seven year break from music in the early 90s, but later got back into it by producing Tranceore and Gabber. However, I soon found the funk, and began producing Break-Beat after being exposed to it by the one and only Rob Real.. |

Instruments
I use an Alesis Andromeda A6 synth (my pride n' joy), a Roland JX-305 for a MIDI sequencer / controller, a Behringer compressor & effects, a MOTU 828 interface and an Allen-Heath Xone 464 mixer. My computer is a Mac Powerbook G4 running Cubase, Reason, Recycle, & Absynth for composition, and Abelton Live for live gigs. In the past, I have used a Roland SP-808, MC-505, and a Novation Nova which is now in Negative Nein's capable hands... |
