Artist description Kevin grew up in Englewood, NJ and was a prominent percussionist in many local bands in the area. He studied at the University of Massachusetts where he met saxophonist, Archie Shepp. He formed a professional relationship by touring with him, while still in school. At the age of twenty, he was asked to tour with legendary R& B artists, the Isley Brothers. This relationship proved to be important as Kevin worked with the Isley's for over thirteen years. He also spent three years with world renowned vocalist, Whitney Houston. More recently, Kevin has been working with Talib Kibwe, Clifford Adams, Winard Harper, Mario Rivera, Joey DeFrancesco and Charles McPherson.
